Researchers and students with an interest in northern studies are invited to the upcoming Northern Scientific Training Program (NSTP) information session to be held at Concordia University, given by an NSTP representative.
Date: October 4, 2007
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: GM 910, 1550 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.
NSTP is a student research and training opportunity which is open to senior undergraduate and graduate students “who have specialized in some aspect of northern scientific studies and who have northern research experience.”
In order for a student to be eligible they are required to have a supervisor who is a funded Concordia researcher.
This session will entail:
- A general presentation on the NSTP, and their online forms;
- Distribution of the 2007/2008 program documents;
- A general question & answer period.
