Inauguration of the David O達rien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise

Concordia celebrated the inauguration of the David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise on Monday, November 16, 2009.

The Centre was inaugurated in the presence of David O’Brien, Chancellor of Concordia University and Paul Shrivastava, distinguished professor of Sustainable Enterprise and Director of the Centre. It was was founded thanks to a generous donation of $2 million from David O’Brien.

The centre supports research, training and outreach initiatives that assist organizations in their sustainable development activities. Its research agenda includes projects related to sustainable enterprise, organizational response to global climate change, corporate social responsibility and performance, and management of environmental and technological crises.
