Concordia commemorates anniversary of Norman Bethune’s death

In honour of the memory of Norman Bethune, and to mark the 70th anniversary of his death, Concordia University, in partnership with members of the Montreal Chinese Community and the City of Montreal, laid a wreath of flowers at the foot of the Bethune statue on the corner of De Maisonneuve and Guy.

At 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 12, Concordia President Judith Woodsworth was joined by members of Chinese Embassy of Canada, the Montreal Chinese Community Cultural Centre, members of the Concordia University Chinese Students’ Association, as well as representatives from the City of Montreal.
