The Concordia Arts and Science Federation of Associations (ASFA) hosted a presentation by David Suzuki, renowned environmentalist and naturalist. The lecture was in collaboration with the Generations Pact.
If you missed the lecture, you can watch the video of Suzuki’s speech made at Concordia on Thursday, April 3.
The Generations Pact is a project that emphasizes the various sustainable development endeavours undertaken by university students to tackle climate change.
David Suzuki co-founded the ‘David Suzuki Foundation’ in 1990 to work “to find ways for society to live in balance with the natural world that sustains us.”
The foundation focuses on oceans and sustainable fishing, climate change and clean energy and sustainability.
