The 23rd annual Montreal Antiquarian Book Fair takes place over the weekend of Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in the LB atrium.
The fair, mounted by the Quebec Association of Antiquarian Book Dealers (Confrerie de la Librairie Ancienne du Québec), has grown to attract internationally recognized dealers, some of whom also exhibit in London and New York.
There will be approximately 10,000 collectible books at this year’s fair, ranging from $25 to $25,000. The books will be primarily in English and French, but there will also be books in German, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
The Fair will take place on Saturday, Sept. 30, from noon to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the atrium of the J.W. McConnell Building.
Admission is $6 for both days, but only $1 for Concordia students.
