Presentation of candidates for the position of Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs, Jan. 8 and 9

December 18, 2007 — The Advisory Search Committee for the position of Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs is inviting the University community to a joint open meeting of the Board of Governors and Senate on January 8 and 9, 2008, to meet the candidates for the position of Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs.

All members of the University community are welcome to attend. Initial speaking privileges will be restricted to the members of the Board of Governors and Senate in accordance with the Rules and Procedures for Senior Administrative Appointments (Policy BD-5). Other members of the University community will be granted speaking privileges time permitting.

The following candidates will address the community on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, January 8, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m., Room H-110, 1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West
    Dr. Katherine Bergman, Dean of Science, University of Regina.

In addition to speaking at the open meeting, each candidate will meet with available members of the senior administration.

Written comments concerning the candidates will be accepted for consideration by the Advisory Search Committee and must be received by 12 p.m. on January 14, 2008.
