Jonathan Levinson joins the Office of the President

February 14, 2007 | President Claude Lajeunesse is pleased to announce that Jonathan Levinson joined the Office of the President as Acting Chief of Staff as of February 12, 2007.

Levinson came to Concordia as Assistant General Counsel in April 2006. In that capacity, he provided legal and policy advice, drafted, negotiated and reviewed university policies and agreements, and assisted staff and faculty in legal matters. He also oversaw the administration of the Hearing Panels held under the Code of Conduct (Academic) and the Code of Rights and Responsibilities. Levinson was also a part-time professor in Concordia’s Communication Studies program this fall and in Spring 2005, teaching media, communications, corporate and contract law.

“I am pleased that Jonathan Levinson has agreed to take leave from his responsibilities as Assistant General Counsel to join the Office of the President. I have confidence in his abilities and look forward to working with him,” said President Lajeunesse.
