Me Casper Bloom leaving his position as Director, Academic & Employee Relations, Human Resources & Employee Relations

Me Casper Bloom is leaving his current position as Director, Academic & Employee Relations, Human Resources & Employee Relations as of Feb. 24 to pursue other opportunities. He will, however, remain available in an advisory role to the Vice-President, Services area.

Me Casper Bloom came to Concordia in 2002 after practising law for more than 30 years with Ogilvy Renault, where he was senior partner for labour and employment law. He also served as Batonnier of Montreal and president of the Quebec branch of the Canadian Bar Association.

During his term at the university, Me Bloom was instrumental in rationalizing and streamlining the academic and employee relations area and was involved in several major labour relations negotiations.

Assistant Vice-President of Human Resources & Employee Relations Gilles Bourgeois and Vice-President, Services Michael Di Grappa thank Me Bloom for his contribution to the university and wish him luck in his future undertakings.
